Caring Safely for You at Home

Our priority is always the safety of you, your family and our team. In response to COVID-19 we have implemented procedures and standards to allow our services to start again and enable us to ‘work safely in your home’.

Care Consultations – We are still taking on new clients, our Registered Care Manager will undertake a Care Consultation and assess your needs, this will be done without compromising your safety by her wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). She will guide you through the care assessment process ensuring care is implemented which follows the PHE and Government guidance.

Health Checks – we are fully up to speed with the government and NHS guidelines relating to symptom checks for COVID-19. All our team are briefed to complete a report on their health and declare any symptoms, on a daily basis.

Infection Control Training – everyone working for us already undertakes training which includes health & safety. Since the outbreak of coronavirus all members of the team have completed additional COVID-19 Infection Control Awareness & Training.

PPE – We use government guidelines on (PPE)to ensure your safety and comfort. Our team have access to PPE including gloves, aprons, sanitisers and face masks, all are trained in the safe use and removal of required PPE.

Sanitisers – will be used on areas frequently touched including light switches and door handles.

Arriving & Leaving your Home – on arrival our team will wash/sanitise their hands and on leaving will sanitise door handles to comply with guidelines and our own in-house training.

Appointment Times – we provide an allocated time slot for home care. This will allow for social distancing in your home, time to make arrangements for those you may live with to go outside for a walk or move to another room.
