Training

At alice chilton we ensure we provide our Care team with ongoing training and development, enabling them to provide our clients with safe and effective care. Before one of our Care team works in the community they must have shown that they have met certain standards, they are called ‘Common Induction Standards’.

We ensure these are met prior to the Carer working unsupervised. All of our team shadow one of our Care team prior to working alone.

Our Senior Carers and Field Care Supervisor provide a ‘buddy’ and mentoring scheme for new team members and our regular spot checks and supervisions, for all our team, monitors the quality of support of we provide and will highlight the need for any additional training.

As part of the alice chilton charter, our promise to our clients, we promise to be a good employer providing our staff with the knowledge, training and encouragement they need to provide an exceptional service.
